West Cork needs a road to deliver on the region's paradise potential

West Cork: It could be an absolute paradise and it would likely see its industrial, commercial and tourism revenue surge — but it needs a better main road

If there was a decent main road serving the West Cork region, it could be an absolute paradise and it would likely see its industrial, commercial and tourism revenue surge and maybe achieving the almost heady proportions of neighbouring Co Kerry. 

Years of very restrictive planning guidelines for West Cork have also hindered the region's growth, but there may be light at the end of that tunnel. As for the main road it's still very much in the dark.
