10-minute walk of all amenities in the town centre makes it very attractive to downsizers,” says Tirza Hourihane of Sherry FitzGerald.
Built in 2007, it’s a modern 72 sq metre property with a B3 BER. “It’s been owner-occupied and is well maintained,” says Ms Hourihane noting that it has a south-facing back garden and one designated parking pace.

Inside, it has a kitchen/diner with modern units at the front, a guest WC off the hall, and a sitting room at the rear with a fireplace and patio doors. Upstairs has a bathroom and two bedrooms.

Locationwise, No 13 Douglas Hall Mews on the Skehard Road seems pretty desirable — it’s close to Blackrock, Ballinlough, and Douglas and (outside of peak traffic times) is just a 15/20 minute bus-ride away from Cork city centre.
A three-bed house, located at the end of a 1980s built red brick terrace of 13, it’s on the market with Jim Coughlan of James G Coughlan & Associates who's seeking offers of €365,000.
Unsurprisingly, he emphasises the convenience of the location: “Ideally situated in a quiet cul-de-sac close to the Well Road, it’s within walking distance of local schools and is also within easy reach of shops in Mahon Point and Douglas village."
Previously used as a rental but owner-occupied in recent times, the house is well kept although it is likely that new owners will want to update the décor and upgrade the D2 BER rating.

At ground floor level it has a carpeted sitting room as well as a kitchen/diner at the rear. The upstairs has three carpeted bedrooms and a bathroom which still has its original blue bathroom suite. Offering 84 sq metres of living space, the house been fitted with double glazed teak windows and gas heating.
At the front there’s a driveway for parking and, at the rear, a west-facing garden.
Sales of properties in Douglas Hall Mews seem to happen quite infrequently.. The most recent sale was of No 3, a mid-terrace three-bed with a modernised interior and upgraded C2 BER, which sold for €418,000 in November 2025. The last sale before that was in October 2024 when of No 11 which went for €330,000.
: The fact that 24 viewings were booked this week gives a fairly good indication of its desirability.

: Likely to exceed its guide.
