“It’s such a lovely community. The community hall is always a hive of activity, with Pilates and toddler groups and a pre-school.

“And the neighbours are great. We had a great Women’s Little Christmas earlier this year in the local pub.”

In fact, there are two pubs, a post-office, and a shop all within walking distance of their home, notes the owner, who has enjoyed selecting the
colour palette for the house. “It’s an A-rated house, so we didn’t have to change anything really, except the paint. I love picking the colours — they’re all Colourtrend ones.”

It’s commutable to Fermoy, Midleton, or Cork city. And kitchen appliances — cooker, integrated dishwasher, and fridge/freezer — are included in the sale. All three bedrooms are doubles, and the main is en-suite.
