New to the market with a guide of €235,000, it’s a 55 sq metre ground floor property with a back garden.
Built in the early 2000s, it's an ex-rental apartment which Amy Crosse of Behan, Irwin & Gosling started showing during the week. “It's a well-maintained property in a hugely popular development,’’ she says, adding that the affordability of the guide is a strong attraction.

At the front the apartment has a timber floored bedroom and a shower room and at the rear a kitchen/dining/ living room with timber flooring, patio doors and a doorway leading into a small kitchenette with modern units.
Outside the patio doors at the rear is a south facing courtyard with high walls and a pedestrian gate. It’s a good-sized outdoor area for a one-bed apartment and an owner occupier could turn it into an attractive patio garden with a little effort, a few plants and some paint.
The property, which is located around three km from Douglas Village, fronts onto a green area and has a designated parking space.
The last one-bed apartment to sell in Clonlea was No1 which went for €230,000 last September.
: Busy viewings are expected since there isn’t a plentiful supply of properties in this price range that don’t require major work.

The €275,000 guide price on this three-bed duplex at 8 Coppinger View, Castleredmond Court in Midleton could look very attractive to a young home-hunting couple.

So too could the interior of the modern 91 sq metre property which is being sold by a couple who bought and renovated it as their first home three years ago and are now at the trading up stage.
“They renovated and redecorated in 2022 putting in new flooring and refurbishing the kitchen,’’ says Ed O’Donovan of Sherry FitzGerald O’Donovan pointing out the B3 BER, which qualifies for a Green Mortgage, is another draw for young buyers.

“The location is very central – it’s within a ten-minute walk from local amenities and the development is secure and gated,’’ he says, explaining that this is one of eight properties in the Copper View apartment block.
Accommodation in No 8 includes a tiled kitchen/diner with blue fitted units as well as a timber floored living room which has fitted units on one wall and a set of sliding patio doors opening onto a balcony at the rear.

The higher up floor in the duplex has a bathroom and three bedrooms including two doubles and a single. The largest one has an en suite and sliding wardrobes.
Located off St Mary’s Road, Coppinger View is around a half a km from the town centre.

Part of Castleredmond Court, a five-block gated apartment complex built in the early 2000s, No 8 was bought in 2022 by current owners for €232,000. The Property price Register also shows it selling back in 2014 for €110,000.
: Ideal for a first home.

OVER the past week 30 people were expected at viewings of this two-bed mid-terrace house at No 120 Industry Place.

Selling Michael Downey of ERA Downey McCarthy says the city centre location and the affordable €200,000 guide are the key attractions for the 1900s-built former rental property.

The property’s accommodation includes a living room, a kitchen/diner with fitted units, a bathroom and two bedrooms. The BER rating is an F so it is in need of upgrading.

: Small but central and affordable.
