All are welcome to the garden show at Broadford, Co Limerick,  on Saturday, April 18, from 9.30am in the local community centre (P56D402). You’ll get plenty of advice at the event which features the award-winning creator of Patthana Gardens, Co Wicklow, TJ Maher, and master gardeners David Hannon, Tom Giltinane, and Siobhan O’Mahoney. The show also includes interactive experiences, plant sales, and arts and craft stalls.

Experience the annual Fota House Plant, Craft, & Garden Fair, at Fota House and Gardens on Sunday, April 19, from 11am-4pm at Fota House, Arboretum & Gardens, Fota Island, Carrigtwohill, Co Cork, T45 Y642. The event brings together a carefully curated selection of specialist nurseries and expert growers from across Ireland. Visit https://bookings.fotahouse.com. Ladysbridge & District Flower & Garden Club hosts Siobhan O’Mahony, O’Mahony Garden, Ballylanders, Co Limerick, in the Garryvoe Hotel at 8pm on April 20. She will give a presentation on her acclaimed garden (Omahonygarden.com).

Cork Alpine Hardy Plant Society hosts a talk by Jimi Blake, Hunting Brook Gardens, Wicklow, “Woodland Planting at Hunting Brook”, on April 23 at 8pm at Scoil Mhuire Naofa, Carrigtwohill, Co Cork, T45PF80. All welcome. Visitors €10.

Ballincollig Flower & Garden Club hosts herbalist Sonya McGee, of Ballymaloe Gardens Club, on April 23 at 8pm, at Gaelscoil Uí Ríordáin, Ballincollig, Co Cork, P31 V242. Visitors welcome, €10.

East Cork Flower Club hosts a coffee morning on April 25 at St John the Baptist Hall, off Main Street, Midleton, 10am-2pm, in aid of Breast Cancer Ireland.

Owenabue Garden and Flower Club, Carrigaline will host a talk by Hazel Woods, Kilmurry Nursery, Wexford, entitled “Bridging the Gap between Spring and Summer” at St Mary’s NS, Waterpark, Carrigaline, P43 V243, on April 27 at 8pm.

Glenville Flower & Garden Club are delighted to host Malcom Kitt with a talk entitled “Gardening Bits & Bobs“ at the Holy Family Centre on April 28 at 8pm. Also we are having our Annual Bring & Buy with proceeds in aid of Breast Cancer Ireland.
