Skibbereen Flower and Garden Club are holding a demonstration with Breda Keohane on Wednesday, April 8.

Fermoy Flower and Garden club will host DJ Murphy of Bandon Garden Centre to give a gardening talk on Tuesday, April 7 at 8pm in the Adair Hall. All welcome, visitors €10.

Aherla Flower & Garden Club will host a garden talk by Hester Ford on April 7 at 8pm at the Parish Centre, Ovens, P31 XV78. Visitors welcome. Admission €5. Refreshments.

Youghal Flower & Garden Club is organising a Botanic Garden Centre visit and talk at Fota Retail Park, on April 8 at 7.30pm. Refreshments. Visitors welcome.

On April 8, Conna & District Flower & Garden Club will host Paula Dowling, Aoifa, as she presents “Spring is in the air” in Conna Hall, P51 RW62 at 7:15pm. Refreshments. All welcome. Donation from proceeds to Breastcheck.

Skibbereen Flower and Garden Club are holding a demonstration with Breda Keohane, Ballinhassig, on April 8 at 8:15pm in Abbeystrewery Hall. All welcome.

Macroom Flower & Garden Club will host a floral demonstration with Nora Gallagher, Aoifa, entitled “Easter Charms” on April 9, at 8pm at Coolcower House, Macroom, Co Cork, P12 E135. Club competitions and sales table. New members and visitors welcome. Further details 087-9821708.

Cobh Flower and Horticulture Club will hold its next meeting on April 13, 2026, in Cobh Community Centre. Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm sharp start. Colm Damery will give a talk on “Bees and other Pollinators on Great Island and how we can help them”. Visitors welcome. Admission €5.

Clonakilty Flower Club hosts a floral demonstration with Melanie Harris, Aoifa, on April 14 at 8pm at the GAA complex, Ahamilla, Clonakilty, Co Cork. Decorative and horticulture competitions. All welcome €10. Find the club on Facebook.

Devonshire Day at Lismore Castle on April 19 will see guests served Devonshire cream tea and given a talk on Lismore Castle by the Duke of Devonshire’s butler, Denis Nevin, with a guided tour of the gardens. Tickets via Lismore-Immrama.com and Eventbrite. Tickets, €25, plus booking fee.

Cork Alpine Hardy Plant Society will host a talk by Jimi Blake, of Hunting Brook Gardens, Wicklow, entitled “Woodland Planting at Hunting Brook”, on April 23 at 8pm at Scoil Mhuire Naofa, Station Rd, Carrigtwohill, Co Cork, T45PF80. Jimi will bring plants for sale on the night. All welcome. Visitors €10.
