Done properly, a touch-up is virtually invisible. Done badly, you end up with a patchy wall that looks even more obvious than the original damage did.
Every home has a few minor cracks and scuffs in the wall. It’s a normal part of settling and wear and tear, and they usually fade into the visual background. I have a few minor ones that I had put on the long finger for the past few years, and there’s a chance I would actually never have gotten around to fixing them. Until action was forced upon me.
