• Aaron Clifford, of Carewswood Landscape Design, will give a talk to Ladysbridge & District Flower & Garden Club at 8pm on Monday, February 16 at the Garryvoe Hotel.
• Mallow Flower & Garden Club meets on Tuesday, February 17 at Mallow College of Further Education at 7.30 pm. The guest speaker is Raymond Higgins from The National Vegetable Society (NVS) Ireland. Visitors welcome.
• 2026 is the year Conna & District Flower & Garden Club celebrate its 45th anniversary. We begin our celebrations with a dinner at Clancy’s Bar & Restaurant Youghal on Wednesday, February 18, at 7.00pm sharp. Members only.
• Glengarra Flower and Garden Club presents “Gut Health” with Dr Anne-Marie Eustace-Ryan on Thursday, February 19, at 7.30pm at Burncourt Community Hall E21 X674. Door prize and refreshments. Non-Members: €10.
• Celebrate nature and support Irish Cancer Research at the Snowdrop Garden open day on Sunday, February 22, 11am-5pm, Bride Park College, Killumney, Co Cork, P31YW52. Admission €10. All proceeds go to Irish Cancer Research.
• Cork Alpine Hardy Plant Society will, on Thursday, February 26 at 8pm, host a talk by Mat Reese, head gardener at Malverleys, UK, titled “Making and keeping an English Garden” at Scoil Mhuire Naofa, Station Rd, Carrigtwohill, Co Cork, T45 PF80. All welcome. Visitors €10.
• Blarney & District Garden & Flower Club holds its annual AGM on Thursday, February 26 at 8:00pm at Whitechurch Community Centre, Whitechurch, Co Cork. All welcome.
• Snowdrop Month at Altamont Gardens runs from February 1 to 28. Free admission. Booking is at Altamontplants.com.
• The Owenabue Garden and Flower Club, Carrigaline is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a five course lunch, featuring a floral demonstration by Lorraine O’Brien AOIFA, on Saturday, February 28 at the Carrigaline Court Hotel from 10.30am. • Tralee Flower and Garden Club will hold an event on March 10, at 7.30pm in the Meadowlands Hotel, Tralee. It will include a garden talk. New members and visitors welcome, €10.
