Check out this stunning quilt during Cork Craft Month (below). It was pieced by Mary Palmer and five other professional quilters as a group project, but the quilting was done solely by Mary. It took between 80 and 100 hours to complete. Mary recently won three awards in the RDS craft competition, along with her collaborator Anne Kiely, for Literary Landscape. They won the category prize for Embellished Textiles, the Irish Patchwork Society Award, and the William Smith O’Brien Perpetual Challenge Cup.
