Picnic in style with this cute two-person heart hamper. €51, from Marks and Spencer. Champagne and hang sangers extra, I’m afraid.

I’m forever on the hunt for storage options. I’m adoring this multicoloured basket from Penneys ‘Out of Africa’ collection, and as always it’s hard to beat the price point at €4.

I’m barmy for bronze at the moment, and the metallics trend is as popular as ever. This beautiful bronze hanging light bulb is €11.99 from the homeware section in New Look stores nationwide.

Keep the outdoor living going all the way into the summer evenings with this decorative La Hacienda geometric medium, split clay chimenea. It even comes with a grill if you fancy throwing on dinner. Yours for €140 from Littlewoods Ireland.

Do your little bit for the planet by using this recycled La Petite Rose shopping bag. Love the look of it slunk on a hook with some goodies peeping out. Available at a cost of €3.40 here.

The first Flamant concept store has opened at The Orchard in Cellbridge. The Belgian brand has some wonderful wares.

“Ours is an eclectic collection that mixes cultures and products from all over the world,” says founder Alex Flamant. If artisan and handmade is your thing, then it’s worth checking out. (Picture by Conor McCabe Photography.)

Keep cosy out in the garden or cuddled up for movie night with these super-soft linen throws. They come in natural shades of black, soft pink, grey, blue and beige and are priced at €89.95 from Meadows & Byrne.

Cleverest business name of the year award has to go to craftsman Neil O’Connell, who’s right now launching NOC on Wood with his online shop of unique children’s beds, suitable for all ages and in particular for children with special requirements.

He specialises in an extensive range of bespoke, sensory and fantasy-themed children’s beds.

The sensory beds create a nest-like environment where parents can design a bed to include ‘white noise’ or built in light and auditory fixtures for children who find it difficult to sleep in a bed. Our favourite is this handmade retro VW camperbed.
