This week's job around the garden

Seems strange to be thinking about spring flowers during August, but that’s exactly what we need to be doing now to ensure good blooms on some of our favourite shrubs next year.

Camellias, Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Magnolias are just some of the spring flowering shrubs that will produce their flower buds during this month, to open next year.

The window of opportunity for cutting these back has passed now.
