Living rough doesn’t mean you can’t do it in style

Rough luxe has been around for a few years as an interior style of choice with an air of fabulousness that seemed out of the reach of many, and just the preserve of those glamorous types living in converted warehouse apartments and historic houses with budgets to support them.

Essential components were contemporary, outsize sofas sat beneath huge canvases of contemporary art, which, in turn, were interspersed with worthy oil portraits in gilded frames.
