This week's job around the garden

Now that the open garden and show season is very much in full swing I urge all gardeners and those who are starting out on a garden creation to stop when you see something you like.

What I mean by that is, if you are in a garden that you like, stop and observe why you like it, what is it that makes it work.

Is it the structure — is it the plant combinations or perhaps it is another design feature such as the different use of shapes or materials?
