Why you should feel less guilty about an untidy garden

It’s cold in the garden these days. Certainly, we have had some ‘pet’ days and as a whole, the winter so far has been kind to us. 

But the mornings can be bitter and now that we are going through the shortest days of the year, the evenings long and perishing.

Once the sun goes down and the blanket of darkness covers the landscape, I am all too glad to head for the refuge of home and the warmth and comfort that beckons. Home is the same for everyone, offering creature comforts and security and the thought of being without one is one of life’s greatest fears.
