The glorious May blossom of the Hawthorn tree.

Garden treasure

MAY and June in the garden are like Christmas for gardeners with more treasures being shown off every day.

Plants which haven’t been seen or admired since last year are once again resplendent in their beauty. The outdoors are literally buzzing with activity: birds singing building nests and starting families, bees and other insects dancing around the flowers, new perennials and annuals coming into flower every day. It’s all happening — the gardening season is going at full tilt.
