There will be a plant stall and a raffle and admission is by donation. All proceeds go to the Douglas Community Association Building Fund.

* Cork Grow It Yourself, (GIY) present: ‘Pure Cork — Real Food For All’ with Dr Colin Sage of the Cork Food Policy Council as guest speaker on June 3 at 7.30pm in the South Parish Community Centre, Sawmill St. This will be of interest to GIYers and a wider audience. * Mitchelstown Flower & Garden Club will have an evening out to Kilcoran Garden Centre, on Thursday, July 29.. Meeting at 7pm. Refreshments served.
* The Lough Flower and Garden Club will hold an “Imposed Class” evening for members only at 8pm in the SMA Centre Wilton. Please bring secateurs or scissors.
nGlenville Flower & Garden Club will host an interesting talk by Jean Perry, Glebe Garden, Baltimore, at Kade’s Kounty on May 27 at 8.30pm. Everyone Welcome.
* Kanturk Flower and Garden Club’s annual outing will take place on Sunday, June 8, and will include visits to three gardens in Co Waterford, including Mount Congreve, with evening meal in Dungarvan. Full details, costs etc available from Bridget on 087-9086904
