€900,000 shovel-ready Glanmire site may suit approved housing body

APPROVED housing bodies, increasingly active in new housing delivery, are expected to feature among potential buyers of a €900,000 half acre site in Glanmire, which has planning permission for 42 apartments.

The 0.2127 ha site is immediately adjacent to Lidl supermarket and to Sarsfields GAA Club, on the southern bank of the Butlerstown River, just east of its confluence with the Glashnaboy River. However it sits above the river, and is not in the flood zone, according to agents Savills, who are handling the sale.
