Cork home has harbour at its feet

Summer is coming, and Cork’s tourist attraction the historic Camden Fort Meagher is gearing up for weekend openings, showing off the defensive wonders of the magnificent harbour under its Ram’s Head perch.

Coming too is Cork Harbour Festival, June 1-9, with a myriad waterborne activities in and out of the water, dotted around the harbour, and up and down the Lee’s waterways.
