Affordable home in seaside village of Crosshaven

IT would probably be hard to find another property in the Cork area with a guide of €150,000 that’s as well looked after as this two-bed apartment at 49 Brightwater in the seaside village of Crosshaven.

“It has been lovingly maintained by the owner who has had it since it was built in 2002,” says Florence Gabriel of Sherry FitzGerald, explaining that the 657 sq ft property is one of a very small number of apartments in the development.

“It’s in the heart of the village and is close to shops, bars and restaurants,” she says, adding that nearby there are scenic cliff walks and fishing as well as sand and pebble beaches.

VERDICT: Just the ticket: affordable, well cared for apartment close to the sea, in a town where the luck is running.
