There are detached two storey houses that look pretty similar to most of the other detached two storey house around the country. But there are some, like this modern turreted property at Kill in Waterford, that are quite unique.

Designed by its owners, a UK-Irish couple, and finished in brown Navan brick, it’s a contemporary dormer bungalow with a steeply-pitched roof, which would have had a two storey turret if planning had permitted.
