Diverse development at Silversprings, Cork for €250,000

Cork city and suburban housing development was never really known for diversity and the broadest range of house types: it’s been pretty much repetitive designs and semi-ds aplenty, for decades, to be honest.

Diverse development at Silversprings, Cork for €250,000

But, when developers O’Brien and O’Flynn came to develop up in Glenmont, above the Silversprings hotel in Cork’s Tivoli, they thought outside the box, and included in their output were 36 distinctive duplex apartments, each with large garden/roof terraces.

Making those c 450 sq ft terraced useful is their full-south aspect, and views down towards the River Lee, Marina and southern suburbs (the near view at Tivoli’s still a bit industrial, but there’s medium to long-term hopes for considerable residential development here when port activities shunt downriver.)
