Family home in Maryborough Hill, Cork priced at €545,000

Time to saddle up: Saddlefield is back up for the taking. An imaginatively recreated and extended original cottage, on 0.6 of an acre at the top of Cork’s Maryborough Hill, this family home last came to market in the first half of 2013, guiding €379,000.

Then, it got over 75 viewings via estate agent Jeremy Murphy, impressive for the slump year that was still in it, and sold for by the end of ’13 for over €440,000 after lots of bidding (curiously, the Price Register lists it as a 2015 sale, but it had indeed transacted two years earlier.)

The purchasers are back on the move, and the quirky and characterful Saddlefield is new to the 2018 market with the same selling agent. Now, though, Jeremy Murphy guides at€545,000, and has been busy once more with an instant demand for viewings.
