Landscape Terrace is one of those spots that once visited, they are always remembered...even if not exactly or accurately.

Since a spreading giant chestnut tree had to be removed by its entrance, the now more visible Landscape Terrace is a Georgian run of part-slate hung terraced homes at the top of Wyses Hill and the start of Sunday’s Well Road.

Views are panoramic over the city’s older section and steeples: it’s little wonder the neighbouring homes are called Panorama Terrace.

Likely to appeal to a FTB, a trader-down, or a trader-in is No 5 Landscape Terrace, as the end-run home has about 800sq ft of living space, with a couple of well-sized rooms.

It was a bit grander up to several years ago, as it was part of the adjoining No 4, but it was divided off and now its access is at the end of the terrace and around to the side.

Selling agent Michael O’Donovan of Savills guides at €275,000 and says it’s deceptively spacious, with nicely proportioned main living room and principal, south-facing bedroom.

Externally, there’s communal parking at the entrance to the terrace, No 5 has a small front lawn and decking with views.

Behind is a yard with access to Sunday’s Well Avenue and glimpsed also to the back is an attractive period home in the throes of a full restoration project.

VERDICT: A quirky buy.
