The vendor is top upholsterer Ken Jackson, and the semi-detached, with attic conversion, has much of his high-quality handiwork in situ, including sofas, stools, bed heads and blinds.

Mr Jackson’s property (he moved out a few years ago, but it’s still in great nick) is listed with agent Garry O’Donnell of ERA Downey McCarthy with a €360,000 price tag, and currently is one of a number of similar era semi-ds on the market within a half kilometre radius, between the Douglas and the Ballinlough Roads.
