Built around market peak at 2005 by developer Gerry Calnan in the lower garden grounds of a period, 1900s home called Lisin, they hit the mark at the time for high-level finishes, comfort and spec, with top examples demanding €700k to purchase at the time.
They slumped, obviously in value in the interim but always find buyers, at a more market-savvy prices on re-sales.
Last year one of the very best, the c 1,400 sq ft first floor unit No 10 was sold for €386,000. And, they come up for rent occasionally, at up to €1,900 per month.
Now, hot on its heels of 10’s good sale comes No 9, a similar sized 1,345 sq ft two-bed, guided at €375,000 by Michael O’Donovan of Savills.
He reckons it’s one of the two largest of all the builds in Lisin (it’s directly under No 10) and is a garden level apartment.
It has a parquet-floored hall, underfloor heating, open plan kitchen/living/dining with a snug off, a guest/second bedroom, utility and main bathroom, and paved patio area also.
