First five homes sell for Nama at Maryborough, Cork

They’re the first five of a total of 20 detached four-beds under construction since Christmas, and all five have south-facing back gardens.
They are guided at €465,000 and €470,000 by agents Catherine McAuliffe and Lawrence Sweeney of Savills, who predict a swift uptake of this first release.

The c€8-9 million Hazel Hill scheme is being overseen by Dublin-based receivers RSM Ireland for NAMA, with Bluebroe as project managers, with Vision Contracting on site doing the builds at this former O’Brien and O’Flynn site by Douglas Golf Club.
External appearances are similar to recent Rockforest Homes builds around Cork’s suburbs, with deep floor plans. Each will have two en suites, and at ground front reception rooms, rear kitchen/dining/living, plus utility and guest WC.
They have integrated stoves, and PC allowances for kitchen and utility rooms (€10k), and €4k for wardrobes.
Bookings are being taken Monday; buyers will need €10,000 deposit and proof of funds. Completion is due early 2018
“We’ve had large numbers of enquiries for the development from local interested parties who are upsizing and downsizing,” say Savills.
