There’s a wide Munster spread at the DNG auction, spanning Kerry, Tipperary, and Cork and made up of three commercial lots in Cobh, priced from €45,000 to €75,000, and 21 residential units from as little as €10,000.
Agent Shane Finn of DNG Creedon says many of the residential investments, including seven in Cork city, have attractive yields of over 10%. They expect to net €1.8m going on guide prices for the 24 lots. Highest is a Nenagh Co Tipperary home, with a €180,000 guide.
DNG is currently listing properties for its subsequent October 25 auction with a cut-of of September 12 to submit listings.
Meanwhile, Allsop’s September auction in Dublin’s RDS will follow on after the company’s September 13 online auction, bringing their number of lots offered this month to 400. They say lots at the RDS auction (17 commercial and other residential investment properties among the full 160 gamut) average €500,000, and they expect the 160 lots under the hammer to make over €26m.
The Allsop range includes two Dublin office investments in Tallaght as well as five pubs.
In Cork, Allsop have a 0.45 acre site behind the Rochestown Inn for €225,000, as well as a mixed-use investment at 16-18 Coburg Street, earning €23,00 pa and guiding €180,000/220,000, right down to a former restaurant at 3/4 The Square, Blarney, at €80,000.
