10 new houses in Macroom are price-busters
Ten new builds, including three and four-bed homes on the edge of Macroom town, designed by Edge Architecture, have just been launched via agents Global Properties, and who have open viewings there today and again tomorrow, 3-5pm.

The 10, by Hurley and White Builders, have a planned 106 more to follow in coming the years, are just north of the town, a 10 minute walk from the bridge and 40-acre amenity park.
“You’d pay €100,000 more for comparable houses in Ballincollig,” reckons Global’s Con Nagle.
Over the past decades, Macroom’s shopping mix has broadened to include traditional traders, long established shops, bars and hotel, as well as supermarket chains to include Lidl, Aldi and Dunnes, while there’s a choice of primary and secondary schools.
Three-storey, four-bed homes with two en suite bedrooms are guided at €210,000, while three-beds are priced at €185,000 on launch.
: Value payoff for a possible commute.
