Trading Up: Ballincollig, Cork, €310,000

The fact there was only 26 homes built at the The Stables, Coolroe, in Cork’s Ballincollig just over a decade ago, has given this small development a niche appeal, and few resales.

The Stables was built on, yes, indeed, the former stableyard section of the old Classes House just west of Ballincollig, with the mix of house types ranged in a sort of horseshoe shape, and included a mix of sizes and types, from apartments to townhouses and semis.

The Price Register shows just two resales since 2010, a three-bed apartment in 2012 at €100k, and a townhouse in 2011 which made €214,000.

Now, the high-quality four-bed No 17 is just listed at €310,000 with estate agents O’Mahony Walsh (who’ve just this month revamped their Ballincollig offices) and they have open viewings today at No 17.
