Trading Up: Mount Oval, Rochestown, €480,000

There are houses of all sizes and price in the O’Flynn Construction Clarkes Wood section of their large, and well-bedded down, Mount Oval development in Cork’s Rochestown.

The Price Register shows mid-terraceds selling here in the past year at prices around the €215k-230k mark, and other larger four/five beds at €525-550k, and it’s understood the developers sold off one of the very largest here via Sherry FitzGerald in December at €860,000, when they released unsold stock (over 20 completed homes) in a number of their Cork developments as they gear up to build once more in 2016.

They aim to start building on 14 sites in Clarkes Wood from this year, but anyone keen on the location, and a bit impatient, may cast an eye over No 72 Clarkes Wood, for sale with agent Ann O’Mahony of Sherry FitzGerald who seeks offers of €480,000.
