Trading up: Frankfield, Cork, €250,000

SET up towards the front of the Curragh Woods development in Cork’s Frankfield is No 70, a smart-order three-bed, semi-d with long, south-easterly facing back garden.

It’s guiding at €250,000 with Paul O’Shea of Sherry FitzGerald, who says it is very well maintained, and in walk-in condition, with a good balance of living and sleeping spaces.

Curragh Woods, built by O’Flynn Construction, is a scheme of about 200 homes by Ballycurreen, with the Kinsale Road roundabout about a half kilometre away, and Douglas village a couple of kilometres back the opposite direction via Grange.

VERDICT: Had busy open viewings in the past week, so should get early year momentum towards a sale.
