Fresh-to-market Crosshaven offer is ‘all about the views’

Apartments filled from port to starboard with view of boats at moorings, marinas and a boatyard or two.

Fresh-to-market Crosshaven offer is ‘all about the views’

Despite the Price Register throwing up two December sales of €1.1m and €1.7m, the top individual house sale in Crosshaven last year was for a home in Croí na Coille, Brookwood, weighing in at €805,000: the other two higher sums reflect block or grouped sales at the Brightwater and Drakes Point developments.

Bringing the mid-terraced, and unusually laid out 1,800 sq ft four bed apartment at 6 Castlepoint to market at a seemingly very reasonable €195,000 (No 20 made €300,000 in 2015, while next door No 5 sold in 2013 for €220,000), its selling agent Andrew Moore says of this fresh-to-market offer “it’s all about the views.”
