Petrol station fuels interest

The inclusion of a Tesco filling station to a Co Tipperary shopping centre sale may fuel additional interest in a €6.5 million investment offer.

New to market this week is the Cashel Town Shopping Centre, Cashel’s only purpose built centre, and the Tesco-operated Cashel Petrol Filling Station, in an all-in offer with joint agents Bannon and Lisney.

It is expected to have a particular appeal to operators of other regional shopping centres, who can use that expertise to bring additional tenants to the mix as there’s currently a 40% vacancy rate, with a number of units at shell state.
