Pub with own cinema has a good image

A Cork City bar near UCC, complete with first-floor, 35-seat cinema, is for sale for €225,000, about the price of a three-bed semi-d, with or without a large flat-screen TV.

New to market this week, with agent Declan Hickey, of Downing Commercial, is the Beggarman pub, on Gilabbey street, between the UCC campus and the Crawford College of Art, one kilometre from the city centre.

It previously traded as Ellis’s, and is at the corner with 98 Street, which links to Barrack Street and which is undergoing its own, quiet, hippy/hipster revolution.
