Skibbereen offer is packed with development potential

Skibbereen offer is packed with development potential

A 56,000 sq ft building on 11 acres on Skibbereen’s Marsh Road comes to market guiding at €1.65 million, after the decision by Irish family-owned Rockabill Seafood Ltd to move their operation to Northern Ireland due to quota changes.

Mainly export-based Rockabill bought the building in 2011 promising 30 jobs, after it was sold by Union Hall Fisherman’s Company via receiver Carl Dillon in a sub-€1m deal, with considerable further investment made at the plant to bring it up to British Retail Consortium (BRC) global standard for food processing services.
