A Bandon banker
The bank moved into the former Xtravision premises, at nos 78-80 South Main Street, earlier this year, and now the bank’s distinctive premises at no 33 South Main Street is on the market with Sherry FitzGerald Brennan Busteed. The branch, with a retro-style architectural facade of stone and granite arches, limestone carvings and coats of arms, brick, columns and arches, plus leaded, protruding window bays, was built 30 years ago, on the site of a pub, the Temple Bar.
Agent Don Brennan says it is in a prime location on the main street, and measures 171 sq metres, over two levels, all in excellent condition. There’s a pedestrian rear entrance, and the building is suitable for retail, office, or professional services, says Mr Brennan, who has options to sell it, or to lease it. It can be bought for €240,000, or leased at €14,000 pa.
