Built a decade ago, and set by the entrance to the scheme west of the city and Ballincollig, it’s on what’s the largest site here, about a quarter acre, and is owned by a plumber, who’s made his own impact on its specifications, such as geothermal sourced underfloor heating, plus oil back-up, solar panels, pressurised water system, and lots of bathrooms, five in all.
