Draghi "turning the euro into the lira"

The commentator attracted several hundred invited guests to an evening talk arranged by O’Leary Life and Pensions, for whom McWilliams pens a weekly investment note. Venue was the post-flood Kingsley Hotel, bought by the Chinese Kang family for around €6m.

Topics ranged from the recovery in the US and UK economies to Britain’s likelihood of leaving the EU and its effect on Ireland as a major trading partner. He also spoke about Sinn Féin coming into Government, and included observations on debt deals, and quantitative easing.
