20 acres of zoned land in Glanmire for €1m

While white smoke is still awaited on just who has been the victorious bidder on a valuable Cork city six-acre suburban housing site at Cleve Hill, Blackrock Road, agents DTZ bring a larger, but lower profile, housing site to market.

Agent Seamus Costello of DTZ Sherry FitzGerald now lists just over 20 acres at Sallybrook, Glanmire, valued at €50,000 an acre, or €1m in all. It’s being sold in one lot for joint receivers David Swinburne and Deirdre Sheahan of KPMG, KPMG.

It’s by the Glenrichmond up-market scheme of detached houses, the zoning is B Medium indicating a density of five-10 homes to the acre. A condition of zoning is that the north and west boundaries be planted up, indicating planners wish to stop future development beyond this site.
