20 acres of zoned land in Glanmire for €1m
Agent Seamus Costello of DTZ Sherry FitzGerald now lists just over 20 acres at Sallybrook, Glanmire, valued at €50,000 an acre, or €1m in all. It’s being sold in one lot for joint receivers David Swinburne and Deirdre Sheahan of KPMG, KPMG.
It’s by the Glenrichmond up-market scheme of detached houses, the zoning is B Medium indicating a density of five-10 homes to the acre. A condition of zoning is that the north and west boundaries be planted up, indicating planners wish to stop future development beyond this site.
“There’s very little zoned land available in Glanmire, and we expect good interest in this,” says Mr Costello.
He declined to comment on market reports that a deal was imminent on six hotly-pursued suburban acres at Cleve Hill, Cork city, which went to market last spring guiding €2m, and is now likely to be making over €3m, according to other sources. It has planning for 18 luxury homes, valid until 2018.
