A large retail unit in the heart of Cork city’s North Main Street, with a distinctive cut limestone front facade has come up to let.

Agent Lia Dennehy of Savills lists 40-42 North Main Street and guides at €130,000 pa for the two-storey building with almost 13,000 sq ft in all, of which 7,000 sq ft is retail, and with scope to extend a mezzanine for further retail use.

The building at one time was a supermarket, and more recently was occupied by long-established city retailer Mahers Sports who have relocated business to their large property at Oliver Plunkett Street and Maylor Street.
