Cork legend Roy Keane will be feeling a little more flush today after his former Ipswich home was sold for a cool £3m (€3.9m).

The Mayfield-born Manchester United icon and current Ireland assistant manager bought the property when he managed Ipswich Town between 2009 and 2011.

The seven-bedroom detached home in Woodbridge, Ipswich, was originally put on the market last May for £3.5m.
