The application, by Finbarr O’Shea (pictured), was for internal alterations to part of the ground-floor of the school, at Cove Street, and permission was also sought to retain the change-of-use of the former yard, at Sober Lane, to an outdoor dining area of the Flying Enterprise bar and restaurant, on Barrack Street.

The council was also asked, in November, to approve retention of a covered seating area, pizza bar, and outdoor seating area within the yard of the former Sullivan’s Quay school.
