TD’s former offices up for letting to right candidate

There are different and unexpected ways to lose a tenant – but a constituency redraw is one of the more unusual.

TD’s former offices up for letting to right candidate

Cork South Central TD Jerry Buttimer was happily ensconced in his high-profile Glasheen Road constituency offices - until the Boundary Commission Report in 2012 pulled the ground and political base out from under him: it decided to transfer Bishopstown and Glasheen to Cork North Central. As a result, he’s moved out to suburban Douglas West.

Now, his former clinic and offices at the Glasheen Road junction with Hartlands Avenue, near the city, Lough, UCC and Bon Secours hospital is up to let with agents Rose Property Services, who say the visibility by a busy junction, along with good street parking directly across the road by another professional office, makes it suitable now for many various uses.
