Auction deadlines looming before end of CGT exemption

There’s several auction deadlines looming in the coming weeks, in the run-up to the expiry of the CGT exemption reliefs at year’s end.

Munster Property Auction will have their final 2014 auction on December 3, with over 25 lots from about the province, spanning commercial and residential. Among the lots is a Waterford 0.37 acre site, in the ‘Viking Triangle’, on Custom House Quay; bids over €250,000 are sought, in partnership with Property Partners Barry Herterich. A yield of 12% is offered at a commercial/residential investment at Main Street, Charleville, Co Cork, with bids over €245,000 sought in partnership with Ted Sheehan Auctioneers for the two-storey, mixed-use property, with Paddy Power occupying the ground floor.

Also due December 11 is the final Allsops auction of the year. The previous one, in October, raised almost €49m, from 175 lots. December 11’s commercial offer will have more than 110 lots.
