The long-established Seanachai in the busy tourist spot sold a year or so ago for under €500,000, with a local buyer David Warren with building background taking on the trade, and the refurbishment and technology upgrades.
He’s decided the business isn’t for him, and is set to sell again, via Cearbhall Behan of Behan Irwin Gosling who seeks offers about €625,000 for the very well-known town centre premises, with dual frontage to Market Street and Market Quay.
The two and part-three storey Seanachai has a traditional bar which connects to a high quality live music venue/night club over two floors with roof terrace, and has a full commercial kitchen, plus residential accommodation over two levels with four bedrooms, two of which are en suite.
“The current vendor has a building background and he spent considerable sums modernising, refurbishing and redesigning the premises to a state-of-the-art licensed live music entertainment complex,” says Mr Behan. It now has an enhanced balcony and roof terrace, improved living accommodation, new lighting and music system, digital security with 28 cameras, computerised tills etc.
According to the agents, there are income streams from drinks, food, live music venue/nightclub and B&B.
