Roberts Georgian classic in Waterford for €340,000

Strong early interest is being shown in the investment sale of an impressive Waterford City Georgian property, designed by the local, famed 18th century architect, ‘Honest John Roberts.’

Dating to 1795, it’s one of Munster’s finest classical, working city buildings and is still in rude health. It was designed with graceful proportions and features by the 1712-born Roberts. Roberts also designed Waterford’s two cathedrals, its city hall, and other fine, enduring structures. A public square in the city is named in his honour.
