Starter homes: Walk right in to Sallybrook

THERE are long, wedge-shaped sites to the back of a number of homes at Elmgrove in Sallybrook, Glanmire, due to the way the houses are set around a large central green.
The layout means some homes have oversized gardens while other are more pinched. The back of No 26 is the latter, narrowing towards its far end to shed width, bounded by block walls. It might mean a bit of outdoors space compromise for new owners, but it might not matter for those not into growing things outdoors. In any case, the back faces west with views over the Glanmire valley towards Sarsfield Court, so the aspect is favourable for evening sitting out.
