Detached building on an acre sells for €770,000

THE former GB Services Group property at Cork’s Doughcloyne Industrial Estate, has been sold for almost 50% over its guide, at a private auction.

Offered earlier this year by receiver Michael Cotter of E&Y, via Cohalan Downing, the detached building of almost 20,000 sq ft, on an acre just off Sarsfield Road, had a guide price of €525,000. However, after significant interest it was bought for almost €770,000, by an undisclosed buyer.

Key for new uses is an apex height of 6.7m, and a storage area with eaves height of 5.1m, suiting light industrial, wholesale, warehouse and distribution.
