Coast is clear to buy Clare hotel or Burren lodge

Priced at €550,000 via Ciara McCarthy, of DTZ Sherry FitzGerald, in Limerick City, is the small, three-star Cliffs of Moher Hotel, with bar and restaurant.
Built in 2006, the Cliffs of Moher is being offered for receiver Michael O’Regan, of PriceWaterhouseCooper.
It is just off the Main Street in the north Clare village, along the Wild Atlantic Way and near the world-renowned Cliffs of Moher.
“It’s a superb opportunity to acquire a modern hotel, which has been finished to a very high specification throughout,” says DTZ’s Ms McCarthy.
Meanwhile, among the 45 lots to be auctioned in Galway by O’Donnellan and Joyce, tomorrow, is The Burren Walking Lodge, with eleven guest bedrooms and four-bed staff bungalow, 1.5kms from Ballyvaughan, by Galway Bay.
O’ Donnellan and Joyce say they anticipate keen interest in the day-long auction of 45 lots, residential and commercial, as their last auction, on May 9, saw sales of €9m.
