The mid-terraced building, at the foot of popular High Street near Douglas Street and city centre, is split into two fully self-contained two-bed units, with all bedrooms en suite.

Selling agent for the investor-owner is Glenn O’Connor of DNG Creedon, and he guides each at €150,000, noting they were done up seven years ago, with gas central heating, and are in good condition. And, handily, there’s rear lane access to the compact, concreted in back yards, so there’s easy storage and access to wheelie bins — normally the bane of many terraced city homes and streets.

Neither left nor right at 55 High Street is overly large, at about 900 sq ft per home, and inside rooms are spread over three levels. One house has a linked kitchen/living room, and the other has separated rooms. Douglas Street is home to many bars and cafes, while the city centre’s literally a five-minute jaunt.
